ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this first activity about the farm. No doubt that kids really like the animal world and the farm in particular is so easy to work with...you can even visit one with children during school time!
This is a very good source to work on many skills as listening, reading and writing...even speaking if you make children sing along to work on pronunciation! As we all know, listening is a very important skill in second language learning, it makes us receive and interpret messages in the communication process, it is the first skill we achieve.
Congratulations and I would love to see more of your work!

Hi Isadora, thank you so much for your opinion. It could be great to visit a farm after this activity. It should be very interesting to complete the learning of the vocabulary of this entry beside my flashcards of animals in the first entry. I totally agree with you that listening is a skill very important in the communication process and we should teach it in the 2nd cycle of pre-school education

ReplyDeleteIt´s a good activity, because with this exercise, children develop different skills at the same time.
I think also that the farm animals, the onomatopoeia and the music are very motivating for kids.
